Goodbye until the week of the 13th!

Hubby and I are taking a very much needed vacation and will be gone until then....just wanted to let you all know so if you are trying to get in touch with me regarding your orders or wanting to order or to participate in the ribbon share I WILL BE BACK!...lol...the ribbon shares already purchased will be mailed out as soon as I return...and thank you...we are almost full next will be the 1/8" taffeta so get ready for that one!

We have had custody of 2 wonderful kids for over 3 years and we need a break....so we have arranged for our daughter to come over and watch them and we are taking a cruise....I am so nervous more so than I ever was with my 4 children....but it is in God's Hands and I'm so afraid that if we don't take this time to re-connect I'm not sure what will happen...TMI I know...we've been married for 31 years..raised 4 kiddos and have already had custody of a granddaughter for 2 years years and years ago and his mother with alheizerms(never had time to learn to spell it...lol)...after 13 years with no children now to settle down again has been a trial...but in some ways a blessing certainly for these kids..they are very normal happy go-lucky kids....very very very smart and confident!! I do love them so! OK, more TMI...I'll shut up now...lol

I hope you all stay safe and happy while I'm gone...I'm going to work on some sketches while I'm in the car (we are driving to New Orleans)...I'm anxious to see it since Hurricane Katrina....last time we drove near-by it we did not stop it is one of our favorite cities and we knew it would be devasting to us to see it...but now we want to support it's revival!...

WOW....When I said RETIREMENT PARTY

I did not mean *RETIREMENT* party from blogging and Stampin' Up!....lol...but somehow with summer and kids at home that is exactly what happened! I have alot to show you because I did not take the summer off of creating and playing with my paper! In fact, I am doing more now that ever and loving it! I went to a one day regional seminar for Stampin' Up! in Ft. Worth and have some projects to show you from there ...wonderful things and meant some great people...actually shared a room with someone I have never even talked to on the internet or anywhere..just advertised that I needed a roomate and she said to come on down and we really hit it off and had a great time (Hi, Kristi!!!)...

Ok, I will begin posting projects later tonight...hubby is finally leaving the house (he is your classic couch potato hermit..urrggg) so I will be free..lol...

Projects from the last couple of months!

HELLO, HELLO, HELLO!

Breaking my ankle really put a stop in my life, but I am finally *coming back to life*...lol....

There have been several things I've been wanting to share with you so I'm updating my blog in a hurry (I have to go to Ohio from Oklahoma for 2 funerals next week...life just keeps going and going) but wanted to let you all know!

Wow ...What a Week!!!!

First off I broke my ankle in 3 places, dislocated it and chipped the bone that sitcks out on the side (have no idea the name of that bone...lol)...now I have 8 screws in my ankle and with the ones in my neck already I really am *screwed up!!*....lol...it could be 8 weeks or longer before I can put any weight on it...going to the doctors on the 16th so will know more then!

AND AND AND!!!...Stampin' Up! is giving us NEW COLORS.....I am so so so happy about this even though I have all of the ink, crayons, markers, etc for the retiring colors I feel that those will make good blog candy and hostess gifts and just plain old giveaway's...not that I won't miss some of them but I am ready for a change!!!...

Look at the NEW pallet of colors!!



These will be in the NEW CATALOG JULY 1ST!!!...so you will have plenty of time to stock up on the retiring colors that you may miss.....Have to admit there are a few colors that *I* will also be stocking up on!!

Craft day at my grandson's class!

We had so much fun making easter baskets using Stampin' Up's! scallop envelope for the big shot....the time went WAY to quick and we had to rush putting the candy in! This turned out to be an easy easy project for the boys....
